A Little Bit About
​Myself.

Hello! My name is Carolyn Jae Nims, and I'm an information professional based in Columbus, Ohio. I am a Librarian at Columbus Metropolitan Library, with a focus on youth services.

When my programming duties were on hold due to the pandemic, I found and embraced new roles for myself at the library. I discovered a passion for advocacy. I am now a leader of the AAPI Employee Resource Group and a member of the Racial Equity Steering Committee at Columbus Metropolitan Library.

A Little Bit More About My Background.

I graduated from Kent State University in 2021 with my Master of Library and Information Science. My coursework focused primarily on public libraries and youth services. I also have an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Western Michigan University and a B.A. in English from Vassar College.
